What the dashboard can tell you
The watchlist currently contains 23 vessels with verified MMSI identities. AISStream receiver coverage is incomplete. A ship without a report could be outside receiver range, and a disconnected feed can also leave the table empty. Neither condition establishes where a vessel is.
Timestamps indicate when our collector received a message. They do not measure transmission delay and do not establish a vessel’s exact present position. Reports older than seven days are removed. The one-hour boundary is an editorial freshness indicator, not a navigational standard.
Refreshes run every minute while this page is visible. Historical journeys are researched separately: explore Seawise Giant’s story or the historical map. Position source: AISStream.
